Larry the Cable Guy

Larry the Cable GuyLarry the Cable Guy - extremely funny or not? My interview is in today’s Montgomery Advertiser. He does come up with some great, witty lines, but is definitely not politically correct. Larry's web site.

I've heard him just as his regular self, and you're right- nothing like what his character is.

I like him as Larry the Cable Guy! I have a dvd of the blue Collar Comedy tour from 2003, with Larry, Ron(tater tots) White, Bill Engvall and Jeff Foxworthy.

I've only seen the character. It's not for me.

I liked LtCG humor until I saw him on TV poke fun of someone with CP. Since I'm an advocate of severely handicapped CP folks, I was offended. There are times when some of these guys go way over the line.

We love Larry! He's hilarious... In fact, I used to listen to him when he was on WDIZ in the mornings way back when.

I like him! Sometimes I think he may go a little far, but usually he can make me laugh...

I have never seen him out of character so I can't speak to that but no, in character, I don't think he's funny.

The LtCG character is boorish at best. A lot of these stand up guys & gals become repetitive after while with predictable one-liners. Not really my kind of humor.
