The eye certainly can play tricks on us! I love seeing signs that have an incorrect word added in! Can make for great laughter! I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it's hilarious and other times I just shake my head and say, "Wow you're getting blind."
Some of those heirloom tomatoes get rather large. I could see it. lol
