Element Limericks

Having officially crossed the line from chemistry enthusiast to full-blown periodic-table poet, I have now finished composing limericks for every element in the periodic table, all 118 of them. Yes, even the ones most people have trouble pronouncing, the ones that exist for approximately a microsecond, and the ones that seem to have been named by someone who just hit random keys on a keyboard. From hydrogen to oganesson, every element now has a few lines of verse to call its own.

It may be the first time the periodic table has been subjected to this much poetry, and quite possibly the last. Who knew the elements had so much to say, including at least one science fact in each verse. For a gentle introduction, the link goes to several verses to sing along with.
